Hi, I’m Jovi! I’ve been working at Aurora since I was just a pup—nearly 9 years ago! I’m a golden retriever through and through, which means I love people… like really, really love them. These days, I’m pretty easygoing in my golden years, but I still greet every person I meet like they’re my very best friend.

My mom calls me her “mermaid dog” because I could spend hours splashing and playing in the river (It's my happy place!) I also know a bit of American Sign Language, and I’ll happily perform a trick or two in exchange for a treat.

Over the years, I’ve traveled all over the country with my mom, helping people and doing what I do best: offering comfort, love, and a tail wag that can brighten anyone’s day. Being a therapy dog is the greatest job in the world, and I’m so lucky to spend my days spreading joy wherever I go.
